PS4 exclusives go native on PC: after Bloodborne, God of War III, Driveclub, Uncharted and more in two weeks

Published Updated 6 min read

Key points

  • After Bloodborne's bbport on October 1, at least seven PS4 exclusives or PS4 versions got unofficial native PC ports between October 12 and 19.
  • Same approach each time: the original x86-64 code runs on the PC's CPU, a custom runtime replaces system libraries, and graphics go through shadPS4 or a renderer derived from it.
  • Maturity varies a lot: God of War III Remastered can be finished, Driveclub hits about 60 fps at native 4K, and The Order: 1886 is still rough.
  • It kept going in November: The Last of Us Remastered (PS4) got a native PC port on Nov 1, and Star Ocean 5 on Windows and a GT7 (PS4) alpha followed on Nov 2.
  • None of them include game files; you supply your own. As of November 3, GitHub's DMCA repository has no Sony notices for October.
  • TechPowerUp notes that with Sony reportedly scaling back single-player PC releases, community projects keep piling up.

After Bloodborne's native PC port bbport appeared on October 1, 2026, the same technique spread to a run of PS4 games in just over two weeks. Between October 12 and 19, God of War III Remastered, Shadow of the Colossus, The Last Guardian, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, Gran Turismo Sport, Driveclub and The Order: 1886 all got unofficial native PC ports. The idea is the same each time: PS4 and PC are both x86-64, so the game's original code runs directly on the PC's CPU, a purpose-built runtime replaces the system libraries, and graphics lean on shadPS4. Maturity ranges from "finishable" to "very rough."

The ports

God of War III Remastered

Per DSOGaming, this port builds on Supermedo's Bloodborne Windows port (itself based on deadinside28's bbport) and uses God of War III fixes from cuesta4's shadPS4 fork.

  • playable from the opening scenes to the final fight, with menus, cutscenes, music, voices and sound effects working;
  • keyboard and mouse from day one with full rebinding, plus DualSense, Xbox and other pads;
  • Ryzen 5 5600X, 32 GB RAM, RX 6700 XT: 144 fps average at 1080p (lows of 55, highs of 240) and 108 fps average at 4K with FSR;
  • a launcher with save backups, mod management and update checks, plus an in-game settings menu;
  • still alpha; requires CUSA01623 with the 1.02 update.

Shadow of the Colossus (PS4 remake)

DSOGaming calls it "a really basic AI PC recompilation" that is based on the Bloodborne port, relies heavily on shadPS4 and uses an existing PS4 60 fps patch. It supports keyboard and mouse and up to 4K. The creator reports about 67 fps on the title screen on an RTX 2060 SUPER, dropping to 29-34 fps in the heaviest sections; a YouTuber on an i5-14600K and RTX 3060 Ti saw about 40 fps at worst.

The Last Guardian

It defaults to 30 fps like the PS4, with experimental 60 fps and unlocked modes. It runs at 1080p with no apparent internal resolution setting, and offers SMAA plus RCAS or CAS sharpening. It supports DualSense, DualShock 4, Xbox and 8BitDo pads with motion controls, and keyboard and mouse too (DSOGaming).

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection

Per TechPowerUp, Supermedo, who is behind the Bloodborne Windows port, posted the first public build of this collection (Drake's Fortune, Among Thieves, Drake's Deception) on October 15. Sony brought Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy to PC in 2022, but the original trilogy never followed.

  • 60 and 120 fps modes in all three games, higher marked experimental;
  • TAA, FSR 3.1, FSR 4 and DLAA; frame generation via FSR 3 on any GPU or DLSS Frame Generation (2x on RTX 40, up to 4x on RTX 50);
  • one user finished Drake's Fortune on an RTX 4060 laptop at 1080p with DLAA, mostly at 100-120 fps, though a crash in chapter 11 corrupted the save;
  • a separate project from BilalReloaded takes a similar approach with render resolutions from 720p to 4K.

Gran Turismo Sport

By mlgprorektm8. DSOGaming highlights three shader compilation modes (precompile on the splash screen, pause while new shaders compile, and batching during pauses) to cut stutter, plus FSR 3.1 frame generation, though fast edges and the HUD can ghost because the game provides no motion vectors. The developer reports 42-60 fps depending on how many cars are on screen.

Driveclub

Per VideoCardz, there are two projects:

DriveClub Recomp (OverkillLabs3)DCport (qnfn)
Resolution720p to 8K, ultrawide—
Frame rateUnlocked without speeding up gameplay—
Image qualityNVIDIA DLAA, AMD FSR 3.1 Native AAFSR 4, frame generation
PerformanceAbout 60 fps at native 4K in demanding scenes on RTX 5070 Ti + Ryzen 7 5800X3D; v0.2.3 took a CPU-heavy race from 62 to 71 fps—
ExtrasOwn launcher, keyboard and controller, mods, DLC from your own game files—

The Order: 1886

DSOGaming says it is at a very early stage but already downloadable: the CPU side is native and graphics run on shadPS4's video core. Keyboard moves and mouse aims. It is rough and gets daily updates.

Early November: The Last of Us, Star Ocean 5, GT7

The wave did not stop at the end of October.

  • The Last of Us Remastered: on November 1 an unofficial native PC port of the PS4 version (CUSA00552) appeared, built the same way, with shadPS4's display core for graphics. The author says players have finished it start to finish, at 40-60 fps on a GTX 1050 Ti laptop. It is not Sony's official PC release, The Last of Us Part I. Full story: The Last of Us Remastered native PC port.
  • Star Ocean 5 and Sakura Wars: in October, developer HekamiAeon published a series of single-game Linux compatibility runtimes (PS4RT), including Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness and Sakura Wars (2019). On November 2 someone built a Windows version of Star Ocean 5 on top of it; per Generation Amiga it offers 1080p, 1440p and 4K, experimental FSR 3.1 and FSR 4, and a launcher. A community Windows build of Sakura Wars was posted the same day.
  • Gran Turismo 7 (PS4 version): per GameGPU, a project called ryGT7 released a public alpha on November 2 that runs the PS4 version of GT7 on Windows. The developer claims a 30 fps mode, experimental 60 fps, DLSS, FSR, frame generation and wheel force feedback, with 35-48 fps on demanding tracks; the test hardware was not disclosed.

Why so many at once

bbport proved the path works. The PS4's CPU matches the PC's, so swapping in the system libraries a game needs and reusing shadPS4's graphics translation yields a PC version with no CPU emulation that can be tuned for one game. Most of the later projects start from bbport or its Windows fork. DSOGaming's take on the Shadow of the Colossus port shows some were assembled quickly with AI. TechPowerUp's observation: with Sony reportedly scaling back single-player PC releases (see Sony ends PC ports), community projects keep piling up.

As of November 3, 2026, GitHub's DMCA repository shows no Sony notices for October 2026 (the November folder has not appeared yet), and Sony has said nothing publicly about these projects. None of them include game files.

What this means for players

If you own these PS4 games, there is now another route on PC besides shadPS4 emulation, often with higher frame rates and built-in keyboard, mouse and graphics options. Each port covers one game and maturity varies widely: God of War III Remastered can be finished, The Order: 1886 is far from comfortable. See the Bloodborne, Driveclub and The Last of Us Remastered pages for those games, the bbport and shadPS4 pages for the shared foundations, and shadPS4 in 2026 for the year in review.

FAQ

Are these PS4 PC ports official?

No. They are unofficial community projects with no ties to Sony or the original developers, and none of them include game files; you supply your own. Sony has officially brought only some titles to PC (such as Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy); most games in this wave never had a PC release.

How is a native port different from an emulator?

The PS4's CPU is x86-64 like a PC's, so these ports run the game's original code directly on the PC's CPU with no CPU emulation, and a purpose-built runtime stands in for the PS4's system functions. Graphics still need translation, usually via shadPS4's video core or a renderer derived from it. An emulator instead emulates the whole console at run time and can run many games.

Can you finish God of War III Remastered on PC?

Per DSOGaming, yes: you can play from the opening to the final fight, with working menus, cutscenes, music and voices, plus keyboard and mouse. It is still alpha and may have bugs. It requires version CUSA01623 with the 1.02 update.

How does Driveclub run on PC?

Per VideoCardz, the developer of DriveClub Recomp gets about 60 fps at native 4K in demanding scenes on an RTX 5070 Ti and Ryzen 7 5800X3D; version 0.2.3 lifted a CPU-heavy race from 62 to 71 fps. A second project, DCport, adds FSR 4 and frame generation.

Will Sony take these ports down?

As of November 3, 2026, GitHub's DMCA repository shows no Sony notices for October 2026, the November folder has not appeared yet, and Sony has not commented publicly.
