It's starting to run on both PC and Mac, but it's very early. As of November 5, 2026, Star Fox (the Switch 2 exclusive remake of Star Fox 64) isn't supported by official Eden builds or other Switch 1 emulators; what runs it are the unofficial Eden fork Lichii (not affiliated with the Eden team) and the native port tool nxnative. On PC, DSOGaming reports that the YouTube channel petter005 ran it on Lichii build 70 with a Ryzen 5 9600X and RTX 3070 at a constant 30fps without graphical glitches, the first time this game has run on any Eglantine fork; Lichii's build 75 on November 5 says gameplay now runs at 60fps. There are also reports of crashes right before the training mission on RTX 50 series cards and of stutter on an RTX 5070 Ti; every version of mainline Eglantine gets stuck on the Launching screen, and the authors of the Aubépine and Orchid forks say they reach the training mission or the first image but crash soon after. On Mac, nxnative (not an emulator: it turns the game into a native app, and it is only officially tested on Mac) added this game on November 5; its game page reports 56-60fps through the prologue and tutorial flight on an M4 Pro, with 30fps cutscenes, though manual flying hasn't been checked on that Mac. There are no test results for iPhone/iPad or Android.

Settings & known issues

  • Lichii build 75 (Nov 5) raises gameplay from about 30 to 60fps (developer's own assessment); a known issue in build 70 is that RTX 50 series cards can lose the GPU device on scene changes, and the developer suggests trying driver 610.88.
  • As of Nov 5, every version of mainline Eglantine gets stuck on Launching (#518, #533); the Lichii fork is what runs it.
  • What runs it are unofficial forks and a native port tool, unrelated to the Eden team; official Eden releases and nightlies don't support it.
