As of November 5, 2026, it occasionally gets into a match but usually crashes before the title screen, so it isn't really playable yet. Nintendo Switch Sports Resort is a Switch 2 exclusive released on October 22, 2026, and official Eden builds and other Switch 1 emulators don't support it. The release notes of pre-release build 109 (November 1) of the unofficial Eden fork Eglantine (not affiliated with the Eden team) say it goes to the title screen and sport select. The first user report arrived on November 3: on Windows with an i5-11400F and RTX 5060 Ti on build 177, it often crashes at launch, after choosing a sport, and when returning to the title screen after a match; on the rare occasions a match starts, performance and graphics are good. On November 4 another user reproduced the same crashes on an R7 5700X with an RTX 5060 Ti. The author of the Orchid fork reports 60fps on Linux but with broken lighting and broken controller selection, and build 70 of the Lichii fork fixed missing system-mixer audio. The native port tool nxnative has no page for this game, and there are no test results for Mac, iPhone/iPad, or Android.

Settings & known issues

  • Lichii build 70 fixed missing audio from the system mixer (S16 format) (developer).
  • What runs it are unofficial forks and a native port tool, unrelated to the Eden team; official Eden releases and nightlies don't support it.
