PC users report a steady 30fps at 2x on Eden's default settings, with minor glitches in the cloud sea and weather effects, but Eden v0.2.1 has a Vulkan shadow-rendering regression (v0.1.1 is fine), and cards like a GTX 1660 can't hold 30fps everywhere. On Android, Eden mostly runs at 30fps on Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-class hardware, with one report of frame rates collapsing after the first area. As of November 1, 2026, nxnative (a native port tool, not an emulator) crashes during the opening on an M4 iPad, and no public Mac test with results has been found.
Settings & known issues
- Save-menu softlocks happen on real hardware too, just more often in emulators. Keep several saves (Ryubing docs).
- Ryubing Canary builds after January 2025 extend the anti-softlock patch to the Japanese version.
- Blurry upscaling: use the lib_nx.ini graphics mod to disable AA or raise internal resolution (Ryubing docs).
- Disabling reactive flushing on Eden adds fps but breaks lighting; a workaround is idling 3s in the Blade summon screen.
- Eden v0.2.1 renders shadows wrong on Vulkan (v0.1.1 is fine); the fix was still unmerged as of 2026-11-01 (issue #424).
