Yes, PC is the best option, but each emulator has different problems. Ryubing lists it as In-game and Citron as Playable. In community comparisons, Ryubing stutters slightly at doors but never crashes (users have finished it), while Citron and Eden open doors smoothly but may crash elsewhere; Eden v0.0.3/v0.0.4 had reports of VRAM ballooning and crashing while rolling in Morph Ball, and newer Eden 0.2.1 has reports of a steady 1x/60fps. There are no public Mac, iPhone/iPad or Android tests yet.
Settings & known issues
- ErrorOutOfDeviceMemory means VRAM ran out: turn on texture recompression (Ryubing docs).
- If Ryubing misbehaves, clear the shader cache and enable texture recompression; it worked for one user.
- If Eden's VRAM balloons and crashes in Morph Ball, Ryubing is the safer choice (user report).
- On Steam Deck, Eden mishandles hold-trigger lock-on and beam charging (user report).
