Mostly not playable yet. On Eden it's almost always sound with a black screen (on Android, with every driver), and only one commenter got further on an AYN Thor by changing the GPU fence setting, crashing after choosing a weapon; on Mac, Astris crashes at launch. The native port tool nxnative (not an emulator) doesn't officially support it, though one user with their own patch got KH II FM through the opening days in Twilight Town and the first battles on iPhone, and as far as a Gummi Ship mission on Mac (November 3). No reports were found for Ryubing, Citron NEO, MeloNX, or Kenji-NX as of November 3, 2026, and none of the Eden reports say whether they used the Western or Japanese release. This is the native Switch 1 release from October 8, 2026, replacing the 2022 cloud version; in the Kingdom Hearts Collection [I-III] released the same day, KH III + Re Mind and HD 2.8 are Switch 2 only, with no reports from the Switch 2 forks as of November 3. The PC version has been on Steam since 2021.

- Switch 2 version (1.5+2.5 in the Kingdom Hearts Collection): 0400B08022A58000 in the West, 040074B022962000 in Japan and Hong Kong.
- For Eden's black screen with sound on Android, one commenter got further on an AYN Thor (T30/T26 driver) by setting GPU fence to balance, but it crashed after choosing the sword, shield, or staff.
- Lemon v1.2.2 fixed a GPU copy bug triggered by this game's videos; the developer says it isn't confirmed yet whether the videos now show.
